thread closed..got the lyrics

Post by feaker » Wed Jun 17, 2009 1:45 pm

I started a song yesterday and didn't have a story in my mind that I wanted to develope. Usually when this happens, I just blurt out the first thing that comes to mind.I then thought of folks who write lyrics that don't have the advantage of hearing the music first. Here is the deal. I have posted the song here in taxi (right at the top) and also at soundclick. You can listen to the mood and tempo. Two lines of the first verse are supplied. You can use them and create from there or write your own verse etc. I cut the song prematurely because the chorus isn't in there yet. It will be easier to do that after is see some lyrics. The song will be finished and I just thought it would be fun not to use my own story line this time. This might be a dumb idea, but who knows. There is no name for the song yet. It is called "Aminor decending"This is not a joke, but the first two lines areTwo people meet at a barTwo people say helloThe music is here http://www.soundclick.com/updateband/so ... m/feakerps If I use your lyrics and you like the song, it is yours. No strings attached. You can sing it as well.paul

Hi Paul, the track sounds good. It reminds me of a cross between, "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" by George Harrison, and "Suit Madam Blue" by Styx. Also a touch of Chicago's "25 or 6 to 4". I'll have to listen to it a few times and see if anything comes to mind.Buc
