Tim Myers interview @ Road Rally

Man, that was great! Tim had so much great information and advice in the one hour. I was thrilled to see him there, since I had "gone to school" on him when I was writing for a listing for a photographic product ad. I really loved his stuff, it's so positive yet cool. Anyways my cowriter and I got both of them forwarded. We didn't hear anything from the ad agency, but one of the forwards actually got picked up by a great publisher, and is being pitched by them.

Since everyone in the Film/TV panels including Tim pointed to Black Keys as what the tastemakers are after, I looked up Silver Lake bands (which is where all this stuff's coming from). I heard another band, Silversun Pickups which I'm going to add to my list of influences along with Black Keys, Passion Pit, Lumineers, Decemberists.
