Trip hop

Post by spaceeagle » Wed Jan 07, 2009 1:10 pm

Hello and happy new yearI got two forwards for the below, I think I have put Aquamarine up before but Mellotronic is new and was written as a hommage to those wounderfull melltron machinesELECTRONICA/CHILLOUT/TRIP HOP ARTISTS AND SONGS are sought after by a very successful Music Publisher and Artist Management company that specializes in Film/TV licensing. This company has placements with Sony, Warner Bros., Disney, Lions Gate, ESPN, FOX, ABC, MTV, Paramount, MGM, Artisan, New Line Cinema, Miramax, etc.... just to name a few. If you submitted any material to D081023TV, you'll want to send different songs for this listing. You can think in the range of Morcheeba, Massive Attack, Portishead, Hooverphonic, Sneaker Pimps, Tricky, etc. - this company will be really interested in artists who are finding their own sound and are serious about their career. This company handles single songs for Film/TV licensing, as well as signing long-term Artist and/or Pub deals - be sure to attach your Photo/Bio if you'd like to be considered for an Artist deal. Male or female vocals will be fine for this one and this company will also be open to hearing REALLY GREAT instrumentals, but be sure the performances are cutting edge and fantastic. Please be sure that there are no uncleared samples or profanity in your tracks! Recordings must be broadcast quality, though great home recordings should be okay. Please submit 2-3 songs online or per CD, attach PHOTO/BIO if applicable. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than December 9, 2008. Thanks eveyone, Derek, there is a story of Rick Wakeman famosly setting one on fire as he had had enough of it braking saying that though they did insist of touring with these beasts, which they were never really ment to do.I hear the novertrons (really still a mellotron) were better than the chamberlins, but yep a labour of love if you want the real thing. I used tapeworm which is a free plugin that does still use some of the original sound banks.
