True Love Is A' Taken (review please)
We've known one another for so long nowIt's seems only natural somehowThat we should be togetherBut you belong to anotherAnd it's hurting me soTo know that true love is a' takenMy heart is a breakingI guess it's too late to tell youBut if I don'tI will die keeping it insideOh how I've triedTo stop these feelingsTried my bestBut my best just wasn't good enoughBaby I'm in loveWe've known one another for so long nowIt's seems only natural somehowThat we should be togetherBut you belong to anotherAnd it's hurting me soTo know that true love is a' takenMy heart is a breakingTrue love is a' taken(yeah)Oh what have I done?Told you my feelings last nightYou said you had to think things overSaid you would call when you knewWhat you were going to doThough it took you just an hour and fifteen minutes, twentyfive seconds,It seemed like Eternity beckonedYou called me, said you knewBut you had to tell me face to faceSaid meet you at your placeSo I didAnd then you saidThat you felt the sameSaid you weren't playing gamesSo I said what about him?You said what about himHe's goneYou said you only wish I told you soonerThen nobody would have been hurtI didn't wanna hurt nooneAnd as we lay therekissing and cuddlin'And lovin'It was then that I knewTrue love wasn't a' takenTrue love was just just a' waiting

Re: True Love Is A' Taken (review please)
When writing a song about love one must be understand that this is the most covered ground in all of songwriting. In order for your lyric to stand out you must come up with a new twist. This lyric is okay but it's basically standard fare. The best thing about this lyric is the title. I don't believe I've heard this one used before. Good start...............................peace!
