Thanks again, Andy. Yes, I do want to nitpick, so I'll mess with those levels some more. :D

Great track! :D

My only concern is whether it's too rock and not country enough. It leans a touch toward classic rock.

Best of luck! I hope it gets a forward and if it doesn't, it's still an excellent one for a library.

Best,
:D Casey

I wouldn't notice if I heard this in its right context so I guess you did a good job!
It would just sound like one of those things you hear on TV 8-)
[edit]
and yeah, it's a little too little country, I saw you comment on that when I had already hit the submit button hehe.
More humbucker than a single coil sound?
Borrow someone's Telecaster over the weekend.

Or rewire a guitar with dual humbucker into quad single coils with on/off/on-out-of-phase toggle switches to have 81 positions! 8-)

Unfortunately, anyone I know that plays guitar either owns the same thing as me (an American Strat) or 7 and 8 string Ibanez's. Here's a revision with the distortion dialed back a bit: https://soundcloud.com/premium-joe/hoot ... hoppers-16

I also tried to see if I could make the fill in the end more human, but I had a hard time of it.
