WOW! I finally figured out what you are talking about Mark. Using TS's buffering (-10 sec and +10sec).. the clip is longer than the default 10 sec and now I can hear dialog before and after the placement!

That's a BIG THANK YOU MARK!

Dan
Cool !

Yeah it's a fairly recent addition I think, only saw the feature on my most recent placements.

Hi,
I've had 5 detections in the past 5 days in my Free 50 track, TuneSat account. Placements on The Cartoon Network for an 8-bit Chiptune instrumental I wrote which was forwarded by TAXI last year.

Dan
Danny congrats on your Placements!

This is an interesting thread. I have been using TuneSat on and off for the last few years. About three years ago it picked up one of my pieces that had gone unreported after being used in an ad which lead to me getting an $800 check from one of my libraries. It's definitely a cool service even if it is a little costly.

Were some of you able to actually upload the 50 tracks that are for free? When I tried to upload more than 20 the system told me that I should upgrade to the paid plan. Is it maybe because I uploaded some of the files in full format (e.g. WAV, AIF)?
Cheers,
Matt

Hi Matt, I uploaded 50 WAV files free @ 24/48k last year. Clones of the masters that I signed with the Libraries. Have you deleted any and tried to upload more in their place? I read somewhere that that might be a problem. I couldn't find that internet thread today though, sorry.

Thanks Dan for coming back to me. No, I didn't. I uploaded about 20 tracks when I first became aware of Tunesat and after it showed me the first detections I tried to upload more tracks and then the system told me it was not possible without upgrading to the paid plan. Did you try to upload more tracks after it showed the detections you mentioned in this thread?
Cheers,
Matt

Dan, I just tried and suddenly it worked... Maybe it was a temporary glitch when I tried last time. All the best. Cheers, Matt
