I'm glad Dave pointed out that Lydia had to put up with a LOT to get this theme, and the competition was fierce, and that's why she deserves this success even more.
If you work hard and consistently for many years, never miss an opportunity to improve your composition and production skills and make yourself a pleasure to work with, at some point you'll probably hit the jackpot. And even if you don't, you're still likely to make a pretty nice living from the hundreds of pieces of quality music you will hopefully have created over the course of those many years.
Way to go Lydia, I've already told you this but it bears repeating: it couldn't have happened to a nicer, harder working and more talented person.
