Two Smooth Jazz Christmas Instrumentals

Post by LamarPecorino » Fri Nov 01, 2019 9:23 am

I barely got these uploaded in time to make last night's deadline. I had hoped to put them on P2P ahead of time. Nonetheless, I wanted to share them with you. The sax parts were played by a former bandmate, Art Martinez. If you have any suggestions on improving the mix, I'd love to hear from you.

Hi Lamar, great tracks! It's just the usual from me- the bass is too big.
My tuppence.
All the best.
Lester

Thanks, Les. I was afraid that might be the case. I mixed with headphones only as we had grandkids spend the night. I'm going to play them back through my monitors and try and tame the bass.

Do these sound more in balance? I struggle with the balance between bass and drums. Anyone else plagued by this?
