UPDATE!!/DOES THIS CUT IT???
OK, I've made some adjustments. Did a total re-mix, and I think I leveled out the overs on the highs/mids, so it should sound a little beefier this time around. Lemme know whatcha think! Click on "Radical Rage 2".Hey Peeps!Gonna' give this one a shot! Is this extreme enough? Too extreme? Not extreme enough? Give me your thoughts!HIGH ENERGY INSTRUMENTALS FOR EXTREME SPORTS PROGRAMS are needed by an established Production Music Library/Publisher with tons of TAXI signings over the years. Fast paced, exciting, adrenaline-pumping music in styles ranging from Pop/Punk, Hard Rock, Alt Rock, Electro-Rock, Psychobilly, Guitar/Heavy Synth-featured D&B, Industrial Rock, etc. will be considered. No lyrics/vocals for this one, please! Only uptempo tracks will be considered here. Instrumentals that range from :60 to 3 minutes are what's needed, but be prepared to provide shorter edits should the company get in touch with you. Excellent performances that fit the requested mood and broadcast quality recordings are necessary. Please submit one to three instrumentals online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than December 24, 2008. TAXI # Y081224TVRadical RageRadical Rage 2I-468

Re: DOES THIS CUT IT???
Great! Sounds perfect for the listing to me. Jumps right in with the high energy and sustains it. Very well played and recorded (drums just a hair on the bright side for my ears). Super guitar (and bass) chops. There was just one run (about 3/4 the way through--sorry, my browser MP3 player didn't have a timer on it), single guitar, that sounded very slightly out of time/feel, but almost unnoticeable.Vince

Personally, I love it. I would love to sing lead on a hard rock album exactly like this. As long as those selecting don't think it is too dated in style, I think it is great. But my musical tastes are usually called "dated" by most.Hope this was helpful without putting a damper on anything.

Re: DOES THIS CUT IT???
ok ... first time for me to hear your stuff i .....absolutely. great initial drive and head nodding beat .... speaks loudly of video scenes that feature any kind of action ... I could nearly see the clips as I listened to the song .... of course, they'll undoubtedly edit the more moving seconds of the song and might find little use for the :32 second point ... maybe ... no, maybe I'm wrong ... they might easily be able to find isolated action for each of the 3 parts - NP.lots of obvious talent in this man. decent first run production, tho it's a bit on the mid/high end saturation level vs the thumping lows ... but the request seems to be right in line with what you have here. as well, I could hear it fitting right in with certain video game tracks too. it'd be one of those clips in the playstation that turns my head while the boys play and then, after the 176th time I heard it, I'd be forced to run the game over with a tractor ... not that the song would have bugged me for it's sake as much as the fact that those tracks always get old ... I dig it on the first few listens tho and it does fit the bill.good on ya ....
Gave up guilt when I left the ol' school girl uniform behind. You know, cute little skirts and knee socks, nuns and rulers and all that.

Oh yeah!Very Satriani style guitar. The mix is way too string in the high/mid range. Listened in several different monitor setups.Almost sounds like it was mixed with headphones on. Instrumentally right on the money. I LOVE the lead guitar riffs. The mix just isnt "fat" enough to me. Hopefully just my setup.M~

Thanks Matt! Naaww, it's probably not your setup. It's probably mine! You're right, it's not FAT enough to me either, now that you & cj mention it. I'll see if I can make some corrections, and re-post later. Thanks for listenin'!I-468
