Vegence Sample Packs & Sound Sets

Post by RichardCharles » Sat Jul 20, 2013 3:41 pm

I was considering trying to write for the listing below. I have cubase 7 and Komplete Ulitmate 8 but am considering one each a sample pack and a Soundset . Can anyone recommend them or any one in specific? Do you you use them a lot or a little in your productions? Thanks!

HOUSE SONGS that would be heard at the same festival as Tiesto, Kaskade, Madeon, etc., are needed by the Owner of a Music Library who loves our members' music so much, that he's constantly coming back for more. Quoting the source: "I'm looking for songs that would be heard at a fun, upscale nightclub in Vegas or Miami. You know, songs that give out a super cool vibe." Vegas? I was just there this weekend and they were definitely playing uber-hip house music, but that's all I'm saying about my trip. ;) Vocals should be fresh, light, airy, and not distracting from your cutting edge production

I think Vengeance sounds are pretty good - and they're certainly used by many top artists - but the quality is actually sort of iffy on a sample-by-sample basis. Some of them sound very lo-fi. Others are just minute variations of generic 909 snares, etc. In other words, they're a mixed bag. I would actually recommend checking out something like Synth Drums or Drum Tools from Wave Alchemy:

They even have free demo packs!
