Okay All, just a little slant on the other thread...1. Abba2. Silly Love Songs/Sad Songs (Paul McCartney/Elton John) TIED3. Tom Cruise4. The National Anthem5. SpringsteenLet the controversy begin. Before anyone rips me...1. Yuk! I know I can't be the only one who despises Abba!2. Two of the goofiest songs ever written, lest we forget "Ebony & Ivory."3. Cruise should be on every "worst list," even if it doesn't apply...4. It's a beer drinking song!! I vote for a change to "America the Beautiful"...5. I'm probably alone on this one. This thread is too negative for my current program of positivity. I would rather make friends on here than resentful enemies, and you see, some of my unfavorite bands have already been listed as other people's favorites.However, I will go with you on Springsteen and Ebony & Ivory. McCartney probably wishes he had never heard it too. Jackson pulled the wool over McCartney's eyes when he bought the rights to some of the Beatle's songs that Paul had hoped to scoop up if they were ever for sale.Yeah, I'd rather talk about my likes than my dislikes. I dislike a lot of bands and music and I already know for a fact that some of them are adored by certain folk on the forum. I do not want to alienate anyone.It is relative to how big and popular a band becomes. Certain bands I would not list as among of the worst, but they became so huge that I can only scratch my head. They would be on my list because of the great disparity between their popularity and what I perceive as the artistic (or inartistic) level of their music.

Wow Walter, how can a country fan like you not like Shania? That cut of Forever and For Always is one of the best recordings ever done...... And willie.... I guess you have to like the whole story and the man.... I'm with you on the Fergie and the rap.... but they are racking up sales much larger than my broadjam site....Very best to you....ArkJack

I hated it from day one and the radio played it over and over and over again...and now it's playing in my head over and over and over again. Ewwwwww!!!!I love Abba and Bruce and Tom Cruise and Shania Twain and Willie. I think the US national anthem is the best in the world. You are probably just sick of it being repeated constantly. I have to agree on the rap although Wierd Al Yankovich can make me like some of it because it's so funny when he does it.

Wow, Looks like I have a loaded bandwagon of followers and folks seeing that I need Psychological counseling. Shania sings through her nose, seems to think too, too much of herself and has sung far too many candy songs that basically mean nothing. That one with the motorcycle?!!, RALLLPH!! To me, Willie Nelson should be in a pasture somewhere with the other goats; Bruce, to me, screams all the time and has far too much noise surrounding his songs; Fergie...get real, whatever happened to talent?, out the window because sex sells. Imagine her w/out make up. AIEEEEEEE!! And I remember Ton Loc (sp?). Liked his rap. But, that genre has become all about it's okay to hate another race, do drugs, disrespect law enforcement and look at women as nothing but a sex object. WHOOO! I feel better now. Okay, Wally, let's see if we can get a group discount on therapy; Agree completely about Shania, I basically prefer Bruce unplugged, who's Fergie? I thought she was a princess or duchess. Oh, BEP's Fergie--don't like. I just gotta disagree about Willie. That banged up Martin he calls Trigger, that banged up voice, and those lyrics from a banged up life--maybe I just relate...another Old Goat.
