Hi everyone,
I'm unsure whether my song fits the brief for this listing.
Any comments would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt

WEDDING RECEPTION DANCE/PARTY STYLE SONGS (Male and Female Vocals) are needed by a Music Library with a ton of credits in Feature Films, TV Shows, and TV Commercials.
This Company is searching for Songs in the general stylistic wheelhouse of the following references we got directly from them:
"September" by Earth, Wind & Fire
"Uptown Funk" by Bruno Mars
"I Gotta Feeling" by The Black Eyed Peas
"Footloose" by Kenny Loggins
"Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" by Beyonce
"Macarena" by Marco Marchesi
Please submit original songs that sound like something you would likely hear at a Wedding Reception Dance/Party! Your submissions should have super-catchy hooks, memorable melodies, well-crafted lyrics, and tons of fun, danceable energy. Well-sung vocals that compliment the dance-y vibe would be a big plus. A wide range of styles could work for this pitch, as long as the vibe, energy, and style are in the general stylistic ballpark of what's heard in the references. Please make sure your productions are polished, and all virtual instruments and samples you use are high-quality. If you have Songs that could pack the dance floor at a Wedding Reception, send them in!
NOTE: This company is searching for Original Songs only - not cover versions of the references. Public domain Songs may also work, as long as they fit in with the reference tracks.
Lyrics should ideally avoid references to specific names, dates, times, brands, and profanity, but that may be less important for this particular request. Optimal? Yes. Absolutely necessary? Not as much as usual. Do NOT copy the referenced examples in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone, and overall vibe. Do NOT submit any material with unauthorized samples of any other artists’ music, sounds, or any other form of media. Broadcast Quality is needed.

I only managed to get through 30 seconds of your track but no. In no way does it remind me of any of the references. It's too slow for starters, the production is a bit shonky and not up to broadcast quality.
On the plus side I thought the singer had a good voice and could probbaly nail it with the right song. Instead of trying to shoe horn and old song into a listing it doesn't fit you should just write a new song that's on target.

Feels too slow. At only 110 it's much slower than the reference tracks. Uptown Funk is the slowest of the references but it has the 4 on a floor feel that makes it feel danceable and fun.
