Ignore that last message. I was getting an error but then the forums did finally work. Probably a glitch with my cookies on the browser. But, I started to say I am not here to start any kind of trouble and I'm not quite certain why such a defense, nor do I really care. I guess time will tell. I'm just trying to fit in the best I can.I'm extremely arrogant and that can some times come across in a negative light. But I have not slandered anybody at all. Again, I am just trying to fit in here. Sorry to make some of you feel defensive. I might just hit the road. In less than 2 days I haven't felt very welcomed here.

Can you describe for me a little more about this network and what it consists of? Information like this is extremely useful for bettering the independent musician. I've read through many threads here the past few days and by doing so I've picked up a few interesting tid bits.Promotion is key and it sounds like your network is helping you out a great deal.

It reminds me of some people on another forum who like cryptic so much it's impossible to know what they mean. It's like some kind of neat game to try and appear intelligent. It doesn't work that well tho. Cryptic is like sarcasm. It's actually a barrier to clear communication. Oh well. Dude thinks he's pretty special, and probably is, but maybe we'll never get to know just how special. Thank you for basically calling me ignorant and uneducated. Please ignore my posts and let me try to fit in around here will ya?

Maybe try a more positive filter like... Great to have you here! I understand arrogant quite well. but I'll ignore ya from now on too, if that's what you really want.

As for me Les, I'm sincerely trying to understand you. That's why I asked about this:Quote:People who think they know me, don't. People who wish they did, won't. In the end, amongst many others, it will be a surprise as to who I really was and what I have done, yet so many only see a blank wall. I've tried to help many, and they could not handle it, I've tried to steer many away, yet they continued on and failed. In fact, how can we NOT be interested in knowing more? For all we know, maybe you're David Bowie. It's interesting, that's all. Not meaning to offend.

Although I really dig that cat and have met with him numerous times, I'm afraid to say I'm no David Bowie. Mark you and I can talk soon. I appreciate you being open and forward with me (not like a few others who ignore direct questions (mojosomething) and start badgering the new guy (stevesomething).I will PM you soon and we can discuss whatever you like and I will give you a little insight into my career from the courtroom to the stage to behind the productions.A wonderful suggestion was given to me earlier to start reviewing music here and I believe I'm going to jump into that forum tomorrow to do just that. Thanks again Mark.

Not the most smooth and graceful entrance to a forum I've ever seen (and you surely don't wanna insult the Something Brothers...), but welcome nonetheless. It would be good to hear your work.
