Steve, I believe you nailed the emotion and vibe needed in yours, for sure.

I've always wanted to try something like this and gave it a shot for practice. It was a creative rush for me. The weapons seemed to be a percussion instrument all their own. I went hog wild with drums. lol (One of my drums hits didn't play when bouncing, but I didn't notice till too late.)

Steve, great job on your score. It wasn't too minimalistic and it wasn't too bombastic either. Great choice of sounds throughout.

I don't know if you saw mine but I also had the same idea about letting the gunfire come through as percussion and I structured my score in that section accordingly. Not a lot of others that I've seen took this approach.
