That sounds delightful. I really like that title "Whiskey Plank"

"Whiskey Plank" - a 2-part Irish hornpipe tune.
Sláinte! :? :P
Stay chooned.

and...
the remake of an early 80s song - gonna work it Country/Gospel...
hoping to employ and showcase the vocal chops of a new-ish TAXI member.
Stay tuned. :? :P

LSD (lead singer disease) We still play for benefits and I will usually have the play list. I will say the name of the song and before I can get a word out, my buddy ALWAYS says "I got this one" ha ha Soooo...I do the bgv's
I am finishing the lyrics on a rock song that tries to showcase all the ego's within the band (including mine) The track should be done in a few days
Interesting topic Shannon

Outside of Taxi writing an original piece, sting quartet, piano and guitar for local symphony orchestra.

Well, I can't take credit for inventing it.
It recently came from a YouTube channel of Sampson Boat Co. in Sequim, WA -
where they are restoring a 100 year-old sailing vessel - Tally Ho.
The whiskey plank - is the last piece of 'siding' that goes on the hull.
I sort of obligated myself to 'volunteer' to compose a piece for them.
Now that I've got a ditty started, I plan and hope to begin piecing it together soon - recording it, that is.

I've got a wee bit of Irish whiskey for inspiration -
and for celebratin' when they're complete...
both the choon, and the boat's final planking installed! :D

Shannon,
Just took a listen to your track and hit the ole "follow" button on your Taxi page. The link didn't work . . . but . . . you had your artist page link in your signature. :) So, I was able to give it a listen. I liked Mystic Night . . . plenty of space and you certainly used up the whole range of instruments - from down low to up HIGH. :)

Cool cue. I hope you are able to bet a forward and a signing from it.

Shannon - et. al,
I just put the final touches on my Modern Indie Rock tune. It was fun. Studying Divino Nino was a blast. I used the song and chordal structure from Coca Cola - The vocal approach on verses is more akin to their B@d Luck and Cosmic Flower approach . . . then they are OFTEN falsetto on Choruses. :) The keys and guitars are an amalgamation of things I hear in their tunes.

I'll try to post a link - I'm not sure that I have the correct process down for that. https://www.taxi.com/members/Ef77nz5GSm ... -the-bomb-

Here's to hope . . .
Johnny

Sounds like you're keeping busy. I tried writing for a Middle Eastern instrumental listing once. Did not work out so well, but was fun.
