What does FEAT mean?
Probably a dumb question but when your viewing the charts at BDS what does "FEAT" mean behind the artist name? Also what's the abbv. under the song (i.e. 19/RCA/RMG) indicate. Obviously one is the record label but sometimes you see three or four tags.
Thanks in advance

Re: What does FEAT mean?
I don't know what BDS is, but I would imagine that FEAT could mean: Featured
Maybe the other names besides the label are the publishers?
What is "BDS"?

imagine if John Williams and Trent Reznor met at Bernard Hermann's for lunch and Brian Eno was the head chef!

This might be worth a thousand words
It almost looks like some of these people are on multiple labels, I don't understand all the abrevs.

Re: What does FEAT mean?
Yes, feat. means "featuring"
I would say those are labels. Artists often have their own labels or were on a smaller label which sold the distribution to the big label when the artist got popular. It's pretty common.
Cheers!

Thanks Mazz, I didn't think it was brain surgery, but you never know.
