What happens when you submit to the wrong listing?

Post by PeterD » Sat Jan 30, 2016 2:28 pm

Just sent 3 in for a listing, and tried to get creative by keeping the listing link open to submit an additional 3. I never do it this way, and seemed to have done it wrong. The refresh defaulted to the top listing and sent the additional 3 to that one.

The deadline is Sunday night, and no one is in the office now. I'm hoping this can be adjusted via Taxi on Monday AM without an issue? Are there any admin online during the weekend?

Anyone ever do this before?
Thanks,
:)

Sorry Peter! Sounds like a frustrating error. Hopefully taxi can help you out. I've called taxi about a different kind of problem I had after the deadline and they were very helpful, so I hope it's a situation they can help you with.

Just call Taxi first thing when they open Monday morning. Chances are very good they will fix it for you (Not that I can promise)... They've always been amazingly accommodating when I've called for help.

Good luck!

You could submit those three to the correct listing before the deadline. Then call TAXI first thing Monday and have them pull the wrong submission. I expect they will issue that $15 as a submission credit.

Maybe you should leave the 3 that went to the wrong submission as is... Maybe they'll get forwarded! ;) There's a superstition at the race track. If you place a bet and the person behind the counter accidentally gives you a ticket for the wrong horse, you NEVER return it.

Of course, if the listing was for head smashing death metal and you submitted a lullaby, that might not work.

I hope so, Nathan. :)

haha!, Mr. R.! That's OK. I ate a HUGE breakfast today and still feel like puking - 3 hours later.

Will do, Casey. :) I'm thinking dark/underscore might not work for energetic hip hop, but I've been wrong before. ;)

Russ, I'm gonna roll the dice and see if I can just have them straighten in the AM. 8-)

Thanks, boys!!

Peter,
My experience with Taxi as regards listing errors or missed deadlines is they have always helped fix the error. Even if you call them a few days after the fact because they are closed over the weekend.

Thanks Henry. :)

Yeh, they took care of it. I also questioned half of what I was sending, and held back sending those after they credited my account.
