Arresting track! Very cool!
To pile on here, I like the drums at Chorus 1 - sounds more cinematic to me... But like someone else mentioned (I think), maybe add something with the bass entrance during the first verse. What I might do there is add the drum cymbals... everything but the snare and kick..
And yes, the vocals were just a tad too far out front to me... I remember Juliet Lyons' class from the rally... she suggested doing vocal up and vocal down versions. So keep the one you have and maybe do one where the vocal sits just a bit lower...
As always, excellent work Casey!!

Re: "What I Live For"
Thanks for the feedback, folks!
BTW, a possibly humorous story as to how I got the idea for the title which was originally "This Is What I Live For". One of my guilty pleasures, I'm embarrassed to admit, is watching the show, "Naked and Afraid". A contestant, Jeff, would always scream, THIS IS WHAT I LIVE FOR!! when he did something good for survival like killing a gator or an eel. I had some music with no lyrics so I decided to make the title/hook, "This is what I live for".
If you've never seen the show (You're probably better off!), you won't relate to this. But I'm saving this story for my Grammy or RnR HOF speech. "I'd like to thank Jeff from Naked and Afraid..."
