What is up with Finland

I am getting many downloads from Finland on my site. If I add up Finland, Germany and Spain I am getting more hits than from the USA.Blues in Finland....go figure.

It's a true thing. I was getting airplay in Denmark with a song I co-wrote right after 911. My co-writer was really active on CDBaby or one of those mp3 sites, can't remember which, and through his efforts we were getting played on the radio over there.There was also a Top 40 gig that people were doing in Finland, I think Harmony Artitsts or one of those groups was booking it. And you know what, I'll go play Honkey Tonk Woman in Finland if I get asked. And more than that I'll definitely go play my own music there. Maybe that's untapped resource we should really take more seriously.Always thinkin! Elser

I had a buddy take one of those Top 40 gigs over there in Finland, it was during winter. He took a shower, and then went outside in the subzero weather his hair froze in sheets and sliced his (at the time very long) hair off!
