What time does the Rally end?

Post by adisara » Mon Sep 10, 2007 8:23 am

Hi all,I was going to title this "when will it end?" but that seemed a little too dramatic...This may be a silly question, but does anyone know what time on Sunday the rally will wrap up? (I can't get a return flight on Sunday evening, so I'm choosing between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning.)Thanks,Adi Sara

When I called to check, they said it usually wraps up around 5 or 6 pm on Sunday.

Yep - last year Jason Blume opened and closed the Rally - it was great. But I always feel so sad when it's over

Vikki, did you notice if a lot of people try to fly out that night, or do most sleep it off and leave the next morning? Trying to decide what to do about my flights...

The Rally is officially over, but last year they also ran the 'smaller' open mic on Sunday night & there were still people hanging out. And other people left sometime Sunday - you do get the sense that it's winding down. I'm staying til Monday morn. (I believe Monday is a holiday for some.)

One advantage of this location is proximity to the airport. I you don't want to pay for an extra night in the hotel, you can catch a later flight on Sunday night and you're 5 minutes from the airport with a free shuttle. The Hollywood location was a good 30 to 60 minute trip depending on traffic and a spendy cab fare.Of course, you need to check out at the regular time if you're leaving on Sunday night but I think the hotel will hold your bags for you until you leave, most do.Have fun!!!!Mazz
