I wrote a song of musical and lyrical content. I forwarded the lyrics to a lyricist who through lack of intergrity I will not work with anymore. Where do I stand. What they have in their possession is an emailed set of lyrics adding their name to the copyright. I can rewrite the lyrics but can I claim that I own the music 100% I appreciate there may be in a difference in UK and US Laws but if anybody can point me in the right direction.
