Which Bass Guitar?

He played it really hard with a heavy pick to get that sound. Really "woody" --- Also, Alembics sound like that, too.The jury is still out on a Fender. It's possible. My last band made some great 15 ips analog recordings, and on one song the bass had that depth. I asked my buddy if he played his Alembic on it, and he said "I don't think so --- I believe it was my Fender Jazz Bass." So I'm more confused than ever!Ern
