Which style is this and is it convincing
Hiya again, back with a new medleyhttp://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=97366&stream=trueI'm wondering here about two things, 1. which style would this be?2. is this ok as sound goes, since it's not maximized to the top, cause I feel these instrumentals loose alot when limited so I'm trying to be conservative.Happy listen Steini

Great piece of music, liked it from the first 8 bars.I think you could classify this piece as "new age" or "smooth instrumental" The song is convincing, i wonder if a slight key change in the piece would ad an extra dimension and give your melody a fresh feel. I also think you could end the piece differently with the guitar instrument playing through to the end; this could give your piece a more emotional ending.well done, please critique my songs i relate to your work runway traffic

I really like this piece. For some reason I can picture this sailboat slowly vanishing over the horrizon. Good luck

Hiya, thanks for comments, yeah, I was thinking of pitching it in the new-age thingies. Key changes in songs I sometimes like and sometimes not, often I think if you change the texture somewhat that it's nicer than changing pitch, unless there is a natural progression of some sort. The idea here is that it flows onwards, but the ending I agree, might be better.

Very nice piece, like the 1st guit part, nice, interplay, same on the 2nd... 3rd is good as well, you might want to check levels right at the start to make sure you're not peaking... very nice piece, bravo... Geo

Stein,Really love this piece! I think it is in the LATIN or SOUTHWESTERN genres (like in Tex-Mex music, USA). SMOOTH INSTRUMENTAL also seems to fit. I don't really hear NEW AGE, but ... I don't know the full width of that genre.Dean
