Hey Vikki!Congratulations on the forward, sounds beautiful. If I'm gonna be picky, there's something I noticed which I found kind of distracting...between phrase 1 and 2, and 2 and 3, the "ambience" drops out abruptly, probably because you were trying to get rid of some bg noise in those breaks...the same thing happens at least once or twice later in the piece during breaks. It's not a good idea to have the ambience drop out and enter this abruptly, if at all. If you do drop it, use a fade in and out, or consider merely reducing the ambience by lowering it during the breaks. If the was something really objectionable happening during that break (dog barking, you hitting the mike stand or sth worse ), you could find a "clean" snippet of "room tone" somewhere else, perhaps at the very start or end of the piece, and insert it in those breaks. This type of stuff is important when producing a capella or solo acoustic performances in less than ideal environments and trying to reach broadcast quality standards.Hope this helps you for future endeavors... matto

I was trying to edit out my noisy breathing (an ongoing irritant to me). This one has already been forwarded but if they come back for a wav file I will fix that up. And I'll keep this mind for future a capella stuff.

Congratulations! I'm new to the board and also just thought I should stop in to say hey. And also, I agree that the screeners do seem really tough...I've submitted about 30 things since I joined Taxi last month, and have only had 5 forwarded. And some of the others really seemed dead-on to me, even more so than some of the ones that were forwarded! Anyway, I guess I'm still just getting used to how the whole thing works. But if anyone's curious about checking out my music, you can go to taxi.com/dandiaz. So again, hello, and congratulations on your forward!Dan
