Congratulations Tim,Your song(s), Alibi, were forwarded for listing #Y071123GT!Not my first forward, I think I'm around forty or so with eight songs placed (edit: in libraries); but honestly, each one is just as thrilling as the last!!!Just puts me in a good mood.

VERY Cool, Tim. I can't imagine news like this will ever get boring. So, what was the actual listing for? The final two letters, "GT", don't tell me much. NOT that it matters...If the mood strikes you to post a link, I would say "don't fight the feeling."Just one more of many to come.Ted

Thanks all.and Ted GT=Good Timesand here's the link to the song. AlibiWrote it about my little bro. Its a family & fan favorite, this is the first time I've submitted it. Recorded it in 2000.UPBEAT SONGS (with vocals) in ANY GENRE about FAMILY, FRIENDS, and GOOD TIMES are currently being sought by an LA- based Music Library that has signed and placed many TAXI songs. They are open to any style with upbeat and positive lyrical themes about Family and Friends a la "Good Times Roll" (the Cars), to "Your My Best Friend," (Queen) to "I Got You (I Feel Good)" (James Brown).

I just got the polite (but dreaded) "you weren't quite on target" note, so it is good to hear your good news, and Alibi is a tasty tune so best of luck getting your ninth track placed. By the way, how long have you been a Taxi member?

Quote:By the way, how long have you been a Taxi member?Third year. Didn't get contacted from any forwards until early this year though. I should clarify, for the above reference placed=contracts signed/songs in libraries, not songs picked up by a specific production. Sorry if that was misleading.
