Nothing feels so INCREDIBLE as that first forward (I remember crying a little at mine)!! Big, big congratulations to you. That's a lovely piece. Words like "haunting"... you never know! It's really pretty and bittersweet in my book. Awesome job.

Thank you all for rejoicing with me!!! I told my family and they just blinked - you all know how exciting this is. Thank you also for your encouraging comments! Ted & Allen - I did submit two pieces at the same time for the same listing and only got a response about one of the pieces. I will go ahead and call TAXI. ~ LydiaPS. I'm still happy!

You deserve to be happy, stay with it. It's often quite weird for all of us, when we tell our families good news from Taxi. At least you got a blink!

That's awesome! You must just be bursting a new sense of purpose and filled a warm and bright positive energy at this time! Channel it into your next songs and keep the momentum going! Good Job! Well Done!

How sweet is that? BTW: It warmed me up when you said you're still happy. Let's hope you feel this bliss with your next hundred (or more) forwards!-Allen

Yes... it is weird... I think many people cannot understand the passion that urges creative people to create. If I don't write music I am not happy (which makes life miserable for my whole family). My mom keeps telling me I am putting way too much efforts into something that should be a hobby and nothing else...Aug 22, 2008, 11:40pm, vicky wrote:Great news!!!!!hope you get a deal, too................Thank you! How sweet is that? That is really sweet! I have a sweet story from today. We were out celebrating my 5-year-old son Karl's birthday. A catchy song came on the radio and Karl turned to me and asked if that was one of the songs I have written. In his mind I do amazing things. (and on a similar subject my daughter told my husband a couple of days ago that if he wanted to earn extra money he should compete in gymnastics in the Olympic Games - and she was quite serious... That would be interesting...)I have emailed TAXI to ask about the second piece but I don't know if they work on weekends. If I haven't heard anything Monday evening I will call on Tuesday.Once again - Thank you all!!! ~ LydiaPS. Still happy...

Lydia,If you log on to your TAXI space where you load up songs to submit you can look at your submission history. That may help answer the question about the other track.Chuck
