Ohhhh what an exciting feeling! My first P.R.O. check was for about $19 and I framed it ;) I think with 3 figures, though, I'd frame a COPY of it - lol!!! Congrats!!!

Thanks, everybody. I'm still floating on air over this. And cherbear, you are 100% correct. I made a slightly-larger-than-the-original color copy of it so it will fit better in the frame, and I'll be putting it in the bank on Monday. wooHOO! But I'll actually cash it, then deposit all but one dollar of it. That dollar is going in the frame, too. 8-) Isn't that supposed to be good luck? The way a new business frames their first dollar earned? ;)

Thanks again, y'all, for all the love.

Ted

HEY, doll baby!! I miss you every day. And thanks.

While the bulk (95%) of this $111.62 check was for sync fees, the performance royalties were divided between two of my instrumentals. "Sagebrush & Orchids" and "Mountain Train". Sadly, since I'm not currently able to (afford to) renew my membership, I can't unlock my TAXI homepage to add links to them for you, but if you're feeling adventurous and are willing to look them up at: www.taxi.com/tedsingingfox

You rock Ted! 8-) I expect great things from you in 2011! Get that Martin out and write some more kick ass songs! :)

My first ASCAP check was for $7.45. My family had a color copy framed for me. The frame cost 8 times the amount of the check and was worth every penny!

And get your ass to LA this November!

Luckily, this frame will NOT cost more than the check. 8-)
