Worship Leader magazine

Hey folks,For those of you in the worship scene, keep an eye out for me in the next issue and all next year... I'm the new music technology columnist! Basically, it's about using technology in your church's worship. This first article is about the basics of using a loop or track while you play live. I'm very interested to see if this little exposure leads to some production or mixing work for me... but, none the less, a fun little gig. -stick

Great mag, and gig. Congratulations. One of my first ministries was bringing churches into the modern music scene; consulting on gear, installations and repertoire. It was tough (in the early 90's) for many churches to transition from organ/piano, to adding or inserting sequences into praise and worship. But God is large and in charge and today modern technology is viewed as an asset. I'm on hiatus these days from my home church; more of an itinerant ministry -- meeting the people Christ would have me minister to. Sometimes people have a hard time believing that a wild man like me could be an ordained minister But it's true. And yes, John the Baptist is especially dear to me! Feel free to contact me anytime if you would like to discuss music and the Gospel, or anything else! best, pastor bri
