y'all rock

Post by hazineju » Mon Nov 10, 2008 12:59 pm

hey everyone i'm dazed and confused in a post-rally haze, not sure how to return to normalcy but am so pumped to do all the work i have to do that i was made aware of at the rally. had a great time but definitely the highlight was meeting everyone. everyone was sooooooo nice and i just enjoyed every minute with you. am bummed i didn't manage to meet everyone somehow, but there's always next year! looking forward to cultivating our forum friendships and continuing to share our musical worlds. PS if noone has posted this yet, CONGRATULATIONS TO HUMMINGBIRD AND TEDSINGINGFOX for your community leader and community spirit awards, it was awsome to see you two get that well-deserved recognition. -juliet

It was great meeting you Juliet. Thanks for sharing your music. Your album is one of the cooling things I've heard in awhile!! I know you will have success with this project. I have to agree with your statement and reiterate, "Y'all Rock" !Rich

thanks Jeff, Mazz, and Rich, i REALLY appreciate your feedback and had SUCH a nice time talking to you guys! Tadpole, i do wish you could've been there! yes, right before hummingbird, dean, debra russell, and derek sivers' panel friday evening, michael laskow presented hummingbird with a cool plaque for her "community leadership" here on the forum. just minutes before, tedsingingfox was telling a few of us about it and was saying, "heehee, she doesn't know what she's about to get!" but then michael called ted on stage and presented HIM with an award for "community spirit." so he was equally surprised and we dots cheered and cheered for both of them! it was great!

Juliet, it was such a pleasure talking to you! You are a very kind, generous person. Good luck to you in the coming year! -Allen

It was great to talk to you Juliet. I'm thinking of your "tropical paradise" while I'm here in the cold of Utah. (It was raining and cold when I flew in yesterday)Trent
