Yay! world pop forward
WORLD POP/ELECTRONICA SONGS a la Gotan Project, Thievery Corporation, St. Germain, etc. are wanted by an LA-based Music Publisher with tons of Film/TV placements, including a lot of TAXI material signed/placed in several major network TV shows and feature films. There are no lyrical restrictions here, but songs with vocals are definitely preferred. Male or female vocals are just fine and any language will be fine as well - include English translations if the lyrics are in a different language. Please, no profanity or uncleared samples. They offer a non-exclusive, 50/50 split deal - you keep your original copyrights. Broadcast quality needed. Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS ONLY - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than June 30, 2008. Hi Y'all~It's a start of a great morning as I woke up to a forwardof a Korean electro-pop tune I made with a Korean friend andsinger.Interestingly enough, the president/manager(?) of this companyemailed me about a Korean folk tune I made, and inquired if i had any Korean popish/techno/upbeat-ish stuff...and i sent it to him...hmm..so maybe having forward would help?the company hearing it twice must certainly be an advantage!woo hoo!one can stream/download here:www.taxi.com/silvercord the name is "Delighted Dream"and NOW its off to the beach!peace, friendsgeoff
