Yes/No Submissions

Post by lcmemusic » Thu Apr 09, 2009 6:19 am

Granted, it's only been since the last day of March when I submitted 2 songs to a Yes/No Posting for Country songs, but about how long does it take to get a response from one of these listings, and if the response is a "No" do you get that answer? Or, are they silent in their "No" responses? Not that I'm in a hurry or anything, I just like closure.Any and all feedback is welcome.Jeff

You will get a response whether your tunes are "Forwarded" or "Returned". Could take up to a few weeks.Good luck!

Thanks. The deadline was, actually, the next day. So, I just got them in under the wire; I don't think there was a critique offered.I submitted a couple of pretty good songs. I guess I need to post them so I can let my peers have a go at me. I played rhythm instruments (no leads) and drums and had a couple of girls sing them for me. I have my own opinions about the recordings, but I would be interested in seeing what others have to say.

the whole process can be pretty brutal so buckle up! I have found about 3-6 weeks turnaround is normal.Andy

The best advice I've heard on this forum is:"Submit and forget."Good luck!

That way if you get a "NO" then the sting is a little less painful and if you get a "YES" then it turns out to be a nice surprise.Best,Cisko

Instead of waiting on the results, keep writing like a machine... that's one remedy =)K
