Linz - if you're still having MySpace problems - I nearly had a coronary trying to get them to cancel the social MySpace account I mistakenly set up first and then realized I wanted to set up a page in the MySpace music section. They kept telling me that my email address was already in use. Well...yeah...obviously. I tried to open a music page under three different email addresses and they kept telling me that they were all already in use. It took months and a lot of rudeness on my part to finally get them to cancel the personal account so that I could open the music account. You may have to resort to POSTING OBNOXIOUS MESSAGES ON YOUR PAGE IN ORDER TO GET THEM TO CANCEL!!!Claire

Claire - thank you so much. As it happens I opened a new email account about half an hour ago. I now have three! I tried to cancel my original social Myspace weeks ago but it still exists and of course I pop in and use it from time to time. Today I have tried several times to register with my new email address to no avail. I've had messages telling me my ID already exists (and I'm NOT using the same one), I've been told the address has been cancelled...all sorts of mixed messages.So yes I've sent them a couple of emails now and asked for help. In the last I stated that it surely shouldn't be SOOOO difficult and that I don't want to open yet another email account!I'm really glad you mentioned your problems, now I can sink my teeth in if needs be!Linzi

Try putting in a different zip code as well.Problem might be that you have the same name happening? Of course you want your page under your name, as the artist.

On top of all that, Linz, MySpace is having a few issues this morning anyway, so it may be a combination of things making it even more difficult.
