This Company is looking for Instrumentals that could be heard on a playlist with the following references and others like them:
"Healing Flute" by Iftekharul Anam
"Samurai" by Japanese Zen Shakuhachi
"Flute Meditation" by Buddha's Lounge
QUOTING THE COMPANY: "We are looking for tranquil and Zen instrumentals suitable for meditation, spa, or massage settings. Tracks should feature bamboo flute and other Eastern-inspired instrumentation."
Please submit Meditation/Zen Instrumentals with a tranquil, relaxing sound that could be used for meditation, spas, or massage settings. This Company is looking for tracks that evoke a Zen-like state, so nothing distracting or attention-grabbing will work. Your submissions should feature soft, Asian flutes ( Shakuhachi, Dizi, etc) with meandering melodies and a relaxing, tension-relieving sound and style. Supplemental instrumentation could potentially include Koto, Guqin, or Pipa, etc., just be sure to keep the mood calm, meditative, and very serene. Soft synths and pads could work as well to help set the ambiance and create the relaxing atmosphere that's needed. Please be sure your productions and any virtual sounds or samples you use are high-quality and current-sounding.
All submissions should be around 2 to 4 minutes in length, give or take. Do NOT copy the referenced artists or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, texture, tone, and overall vibe. Do NOT submit any material with unauthorized samples of any other artists’ music, sounds, or any other form of media. Broadcast Quality is needed.
PRO TIP: We think it's more important to maintain a zen vibe throughout, while avoiding anything that could be jarring and distract listeners from their meditative state. They're not looking for the "composer of the year," so much as creating a peaceful, zen-like feeling. Keep it simple, and not too "fancy."
