Hey Weapon,Enjoyed meeting you and Kelly just briefly in the main "ballroom" before one of the sessions.Apparently that darn dresscode inhibited some people.

I DO have two Road Rally regrets...I missed my fifteen-minute-mentoring session. I feel TERRIBLE not just for what I missed but for robbing someone else of what could've been a LIFE-CHANGING opportunity.Secondly, NEVER AGAIN will I drink one of those energy drinks they give us at the Road Rally registration!!! My body chemistry must be whacked, or something... I tried to go to sleep @ sometime after 5 in the morning. I bundled up in the covers BUT COULD N O T sleep... I got maybe an hour's wink--where I dreamed I was riding a bicycle and kicked over a trash bag full of soda pops into a KFC parking lot and someone yelled at me for doing it.)I had to be in the Grand Ballroom the next morning @ a little before 9. (I was the guy who won the "Most Inspirational, 2008" Award from Michael Laskow.) Did anyone noticed how "out of it" I looked that morning??? I saw Lamont Dozier outside in the halls that morning after wards. I was so "zombified" all I could do was say to him, "Hi. You're Lamont Dozier, nice to see you," and then shake his hand. Any other day I would have tried to sing one of my songs to him.Fortunately I DID stay and hear him speak and THANK GOD I LEARNED SOMETHING from that man! Afterward I went upstairs and wasted 5 hours trying to get thirty minutes of sleep...For the most part I was a burnt out zombie all day long. Thank God Friday night that energy drink was flushed outta my system and I was able to get some refreshing sleep...On Saturday I was MUCH BETTER!!!

Christopher, i KNEW i couldn't drink my energy drink Thursday night... if I had, I'd STILL be awake from it today!!And Patrick... you must not have had a dot on your badge or I would have definitely given you a hug! I do remember an extremely kind guy who sat next to me. You reminded me of another regret I have...Wish I could have made it to ALL of Jason Blume's classes.Even tho I studied the Rally schedules before I left for the Rally, on the plane, and in my hotel room, I still found myself torn between which class to actually attend when the time came. When I can, I intend to type out my notes and post 'em here on the forum.
