Any users of BFD2?

I love BFD2 and just wondering if anyone who uses it has had trouble with the mapping function. Most of it works fine, but I sometimes have trouble setting up hi hat articulations, adding one seems to change the others that I want to keep, also. Overall, it is amazing. Properly programmed, you can create a drumtrack that would fool a drummer and I love the sounds, very authentic and natural. Anyway, anybody out there?Wodinlord

That would have to be the late great John Bonham, hands down. When you break down what he played that sounds so straight ahead, it is actually very sophisticated. His hi hat work was amazing. If you listen to how he moves the accents around and sometimes plays a hi hat pattern of 3 against 4/4 time that lands back on one every 4 measures.. wow. I have tried many times to teach drummers to get that feel and not one could really nail it. No one else has a 2 & 4 pocket like he did. Not even Jason, as good as he is, can fully get there. IMHO.(I need to start a new of of those - IMVOO...in my very opinionated opinion)

To be honest I've never really listened to Zep's stuff much - although I do have an album of theirs - how Ironic, I have an album but never listened to it.... no wait... Whole Lotta Love - yeah that and Stairway are about the only songs I know... I love Danny Carey and Josh Freese's drumming styles... Danny because his drumming is so ethnic styled, and Josh coz he's SO IN YOUR FACE with his drumming... have you ever heard the song Let's Have A War done by A Perfect Circle... the drumming on there is so insane - it's beautiful.

Aimusic,To live in England, in London and not know Led Zep is SACRILEGE!! I bet all the guys in A Perfect Circle are down with them. BTW, Perfect Circle is/was great. At least, tell me you are a fan of "Top Gear" on the BBC or all my preconceptions of the British wiil be destroyed. Dave, True enough. However, I bet John could have played in The Beatles better than Ringo could have played in Led Zeppelin. (useless thoughts brought to you by Wodinlord)You know, I bet that if you added up all the striking force imparted to the drums by Ringo over his entire career, it wouldn't equal 1 John Bonham drum solo. I haven't seen any of their reunion concert yet, other than news reports, but look forward to it.It'll be interesting to see how Bonham's son did.

I wish when I spoke, I sounded like Jeremy.Hey Wodinlord,HAHAHAHA but the whole trick of the situation is, I'm originally from South Africa - Johannesburg - moved to the UK over a year ago... so I'm an acception to the rule...yeeehaaaawwww!!!! And in any way, South Africa is majorly Americanised... we listen to American music, watch American shows (which 9/10 are WAAAAY better than British shows - talking about sitcoms that is)A Perfect Circle where amazing, I really wish they stuck together - but Maynard's got his own side project now - he did a country song - I kid you not...I Like TopGear - I think Jeremy is pretty cool, but then again I don't watch it nearly enough to make a full judgement on his character.... but OH MY GOD THOSE CARS ARE AMAZING!!! My girlfriends dad ordered himself the new Audi R8, it will only be delivered to SA in 2009, oh how I wish I could give that bad boy a test run.....But on a serious note - my opinion is, when a band reaches a specific sound, taking out even just 1 on those players, will change the overall sound of the band... Ringo did his job, and he did it well, he may not be as technical as Bonham was, but he got the job done... it's like some people run the marathon, other people walk it - but atleast they finish it in the end. Like Imagine if Flea left the Peppers - that bands sound would COMPLETELY change - sure many other bassists could play what he plays - but future sounds would be different.p.s. Danny Carey would whip all them asses combines ... just my opinion...hahahahaha!!!
