Not quite sure I get the joke. But I imagine there is one in there! Hi Liam. How's it going? We haven't talked in a while PM-wise. Hope all is great with you.Hopefully others can learn a bit about this mysterious avatar technology and how it all works from this discussion. If you use Windows, the free Paint program should let you crop and change the shape of photos. Macs have something even better, I am sure.BTW, I agree that Photobucket.com is a good, free service for storing avatars and other pictures where you need a URL to it.Glenn

They have a built-in onsite photo editor now so you can do your image re-sizing where you do your image hosting; wish I'd known about it before I downloaded XnView.

Wow, you guys are really helpful. I'm sure you'll see my mug in the near future. Linzi, you're funny. I think your picture would look nice no matter how it gets stretched. I'm going to stretch mine up like Steve's so I look thinner.

We all know you're not stretched. Stressed maybe, but definitely not stretched. I just tried the photobucket thing and it didn't take. I'm not to savvy at these machines. I'm off to try again.Wig

Actually, I simply mirror the emotional presentation, that I believe a poster is making. I'm such a softie you wouldn't believe it, and you probably don't. I am however fraught with self-confidence issues. That's obvious. I guarantee you, those will dissipate, in the next few months. I see you got the pic loaded. Hmm, maybe you do need to stretch your avatar some more...
