Hey Geo (where's amp?),I'm coming in late, so only listening to your latest mix, obviously. I think I'd try a mix with the pan on the harmony vocal in the center directly behind the lead. It sounds a little odd to me off on the left by itself. The choruses (especially near the end) are very powerful, with a full sound and the sax blaring (drums could probably be a big louder there). Nice way to finish up the song!I like the sax.Vince

hi Geo...I like the percussions & sax best... oh, the vocal harmonizing backing is cool too... I'm listening as I'm typing.. heheh... ah, I especially like the sax right after the first Chorus... on 2nd verse now... ...Wow... there's alot happening at the end in this track, almost like a crescendo... it's a good song... I look forward to hear the final mix yea! ^_^-Kel

Hi guys... finally got around to mixing this... didn't have time to redo guitars but think they work OK...Might have time to redo the guitars and add a lead part so I can do a "sax-less" version...All comments welcomed.... snare too hot?Peace, Geo

Hey Geo,Nice track. Sounds a little like "Men at Work" in places. I'm guessing you fixed the sax after the earlier comments because I don't hear anything wrong with it now.The lyrics are very cool!Cam

Hey Geo.. no don't think the snare is too hot.. I'd like to hear some low mids taken out though or some highs added maybe.I dig those vocal harmonies and your overall delivery. I actually like the sax ha ha, but I guess it limits placement ops. Are you playing everything on this?

I'll tweak only... thanks...Quote:I dig those vocal harmonies and your overall delivery. I actually like the sax ha ha, but I guess it limits placement ops. Are you playing everything on this?Ha ha... I wish!!! The vocalist is my BF Mike... we started a band 12 years ago... just hooked up again 3 years ago... the sax is a local RI player... Mitch Kaplan... he's great... apparantly his Father's a local legend... I do everything else and write the material... the reason I used sax was the Springsteen thing... the other is I just play rhythm guit... suck at solos...Thanksa again... we're jumping between threads Peace, Geo

I'm a 80's guy... never able to leave it behind but that's cool with me! Yeah, I did a cut and paste job on the sax... the arrangement change a bit after recording...Glad you like the lyrics... they're some of my favorite...Peace, Geo

Geo budYa know what is so cool about this. You keep ammending your song as the help comments roll in. These folks are so good at seeing these areas for improvemnet. The best part is that I know you don't have an ego. Fun thing to watch.Paul

Geo,I agree that these lyrics are special. I always think its cool when the writer throws in a line or two from another language. And the mix is coming together. The guitars in the prochorus sounded very dark to me--not sure it's an exact fit there. Otherwise, I think your Boss pedal is working well for you.Did you resing the vocal? I remember it having more energy and urgency previously.Vince
