Me, I'm celabrating. After filling out more than 70 job apps. over the last several weeks, I have FINALLY been hired.wooHOO!!!Granted, it's a new restaurant that won't open to the public until the 2nd week of July, but training starts on the 29th. I'm SO relieved, as the last time I checked, my checking account had $.44 in it. And NO, that decimal point was NOT in the wrong place. So, for July, my deliberate plans are:1) to show the new employers that they made a GREAT decision in hiring me.2) write, write, write, and then write some more3) start saving up my $$ so I can finally start demo-ing some of my new stuffGod is great. Beer is good. And people are crazy...Ted

Hi all. Here's another quick check-in.My studio looks like a studio again, and not like a storage facility I'm not all the way back yet, but using the 'baby step' approach, I'm committing to starting (and finishing) a new song by August 15.See you then.Rayzer

Right on, Rayzer. My favorite bit of good news is that I've finally cracked the code on how to get my name on the audition list for The BlueBird Cafe. So, my biggest commit for this month is to get on that list, and to pass the audition. (As far as I'm concerned, if I get to audition, I'll pass... )Ted

I'm still in the same place. Working to get to the epitome of my game in the accounting and business arena. Plenty of reading, research, projects, and education pursuits. More credentials and designations in the works as well. My theory is that as I keep on this aggressive track, I am making myself more valuable and desirable, and therefore be able to improve my rates to the point where I don't have to devote such extensive time to generate the revenue flows needed to keep the ends together. Of course the sacrifice has been music. I have started some new literary forays that have been feeding my inspiration for new songs. Big problem is not being able to commit any time or resources to a music project at the moment. I don't want to start and stop start and stop having to get a project started only to have to put it aside for 3 or 4 weeks. As I get time, I am trying some new angles to test markets for my previous productions.Hang in there all delibiterians.ArkJack

SCORE!!! I audition on Sunday morning, August 2nd, and will be in line no later than 9:45 am. Sign-ups begin at 10:30 and the auditions start promptly at 11:00.WooHOO!!One small problem... I won't find out whether or not I passed the audition until after our next check-in. But you had BETTER believe you will hear me crowing from the rooftops when I get the word.Ted
