So, I replaced the AI rap now with myself - the idea is to get closer to a useful demo. The AI lady is still sung by me.

Interesting: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/7MIFiKZjuro

This guy says ghostwriter did not pull the song because of AI Drake and AI TheWeeknd, but because he had Metroboomin's tag on it, i.e. used his likeness. He also claims that neither UMG nor the streaming services pulled it.

I asked:
Is it legal to use a AI voice clone in a music production as long as it is clearly labeled as such?
Here is what ChatGPT says:
The use of AI voice clones in music production raises complex legal and ethical issues, and the regulations governing their use can vary by jurisdiction. In general, the use of AI voice clones for commercial purposes may require obtaining licenses or permission from the copyright holder or the original performer, particularly if the resulting product incorporates a significant portion of the original work.

Additionally, there may be issues related to intellectual property rights, such as trademarks, that need to be considered. It's important to note that laws and regulations regarding AI voice clones are still evolving, and different countries may have different legal frameworks in place.

As a general rule, it's always best to consult with legal professionals familiar with intellectual property and copyright laws in your jurisdiction to determine whether the use of an AI voice clone in a music production is legal, and to obtain any necessary permissions or licenses before proceeding with the project.

Bring it on. I doubt it'll survive editing by humans and if it doesn't, humans will know. Or hopefully, at least the ones who count. The 'bot that can replace me hasn't been invented, yet. The 'bot that can replace you, I'm not so sure about.

Most of it never gets listened to
Even the weirdest stuff sometimes gets 8,000 spins. Not 8,001 or 7,999, no - exactly 8,000.
You can pay to boost your listens
