I just figured out that I already told you about Funkranomicon, so you can ignore that. So sorry.

Jonny, I was not lucky enough with this one ... :(
Screener thought it was "too busy."

Neither do I, Michael.
In fact, I deliberately went WAY out of my way to keep any melody as simple as possible knowing there would be dialogue over the top.

fwiw: just a few minutes into the track, after having read the listing... focused on "trio"...
the drums, as good as they are and befitting the piece, put the track over the top of being "background" music; imho... for the listing.

Could you mute the drum track and resubmit the piece?! Crazy idea?

The composition and feel seems like a lock, other than that.
My quick 2 cents worth.

Peter,
I think this has a smooth and sophisticated sound to it and seems like it would work well for what they are asking for. I wouldn't be surprised if the screener thinks it is too busy, although I don't, you never know what they are going to say. Good luck, I think you have a ringer here.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your reply. There's a thread about this listing in the 'Listing Station' heading. Nially and I were wondering if anybody got a forward with this one. No one has spoken up so far. I too think your tracks sound good! This was a puzzler. Oh well - onward.

take care

Jon

PS: my returned tracks for this listing are on my Taxi page: 'Bamee', 'Champale', and 'Sylvan Pools'
