Hey Ibanez. You got a guitar midi controller?Mewman and Paults (not seen him online for a while) recommended one, so I gave it a try.I got the Axon AX50, and, as a guitarist, find it much easier to use than a keyboard, especially on strings.Hope to get some recording done on Tuesday, after the kids go back to school. Will be trying the new 012 mic too.Cheers,Dave.

Damn it Dave! Now ya' tell me. I knew you were up ta' somethin' when you suggested listening to that a 2nd time, I just wasn't sure where you were goin' with it! Why the hell do they have that thing louder than everything else? I guess it's like what Deep Purple's singer (Ian Gillan) says right before they jump into "The Mule" on the "Made In Japan" album: "Yeah...we want everything LOUDER than everything else..." That's my favorite tune off of that album BTW. I-468

Ibanez. I just remembered. Two points with Colossus:After using a Colossus sample in a mix; everytime I openthat session in Sonar, I get the error: "Physical memory is getting low! Loading more samples might cause problems. Really proceed loading?"I've 3 gig ram.It does proceed to load fine, but I've never found an answer to the problem.Doing some searching on Google, I found lots of people got the same message. It only happens with Colossus. Also, there were some samples, such as the Steinway piano that just would not open.I had to download a DFD extension from the Native instruments site which cured it.You might not have these problems, but just so you know.Dave.

Hey Dave,Yeah, thanks for lookin' out! I did download and run the DFD extension prior to loading up Colossus, so I haven't had any problems with it, yet! I do get those messages when loading EWQL Silver or Gold though, especially loading up a piano, and it proceeds and seems ta' be O.K. afterwards. So, I don't know what's up with that, but as long as it does what it's suppose to, I guess I can live with it.I-468

Hey All,I really wanted Colossus, but I found the Native Instruments Komplete 5 + Kore 2 special and couldn't resist, so I bought that. It should be arriving soon, so then maybe we could compare notes etc?
