So far I'm loving everything about CB6! The new features are really cool, I've just skimmed the surface so far but they all seem very useful. Visually it looks amazing!
I was experimenting with Tempo Detection on a James Brown tune and after it analyzed the track it created a tempo map, but it only was able to do part of the track, it missed a few bars in the beginning, i added a shaker from Stylus to play along with it and it followed along nicely but at bar 105 it went off beat, so that puzzled me a bit, I'll have to do some more experimenting. On that note, it was very interesting to see how much tempos fluctuate from a live band, reminds me that I need to do some tweaking on tempo maps for my productions to give the songs a more realistic feel.
One other thing that I was missing from CB5 was how the track colors would show up on the track next to the meter, I finally discovered where it moved to, if you hover over the track name in the inspector and use your mouse wheel you can change the color that way or if you click the arrow it will display the color chart.
Anyways, I think i'll sit and watch the tutorials that came with it, it's amazing whats left to learn, I've just now discovered how using folders is so useful!
chers!

Re: Cubase 6 - drool
We have been using Nuendo in the studio for some time, but at home I'm using C5 on an AMD quad core for guitar tracking.
There is a new computer build coming for the studio AMD 6core with maxed out Ram, RME audio card, running cubase 6 with some add ons including Ozone 4. The console is going to be a Yammaha DM2000 so we can take advantage of both outboard gear and VST's at the same time plus it will be cooler than an analog board.
