matto and everyone else I believe you've answered my ?I still have to try to move this stuff around. Any suggestions on what program can do it? Otherwise I have to start over which is a lot of lost time.Here's hoping.TTA (Thanks to all)Flip

The only solution I can see is to get Cubase 4 (full version). If you have SX3 you should be able to upgrade at a significantly reduced price.I don't think there is any way to convert files from a full blown older version of Cubase to a lite newer version.As I said before, these types of limitations are typical of software.
