Hey Matt, a late congrats on the new addition to the family. By now you are in the thick of it, riding that extreme emotional/physical roller coaster that is parenting. It gets better, and it gets worse, just like life.

Thanks, friends! So nice to have such warm greetings and comments from so many of you. Reading these messages puts a smile on my face when I'm rocking my baby to sleep at 3:00 am, lol.

She's really an amazing little girl. And aside from the occasional flare-up fusses, she's pretty chill. Nonetheless, Dear Ol' Dad still isn't getting much sleep! Just finally getting back to writing music after 9 days away from my studio. We'll see what I can sneak into a few quiet hours!

Rest assured, you will all be bombarded with cell phone photos when I see you at the Rally!

Wonderful, news, Matt! Many congrats to you & family! This brings back many memories - going from "rock 'n roll" to "rockin' chair daddy-o'" and finding out what's on TV at 4:00 a.m. Soak up the memories!

That's amazing, congratulations. Not to sound preachy but they say God works in mysterious ways.

My wife will be induced Monday if nothing happens by then. Any words of advice for the first week of being a dad? (Or my last child free weekend?)
