Re: Favorite love songs
Chits,The first ones for me that jump out are "Something" by George Harrison, Karla Bonhoff's "All My Life" and "At Last" sung by Etta James. Also, Beth Nielson Chapman's "All I Need"There's one on Ray Lamontagne's "Trouble" ablum called "Shelter" that I listened to obsessively for a while last year- soooo romantic...Some others (made me check my CD collection): 38 Special's "Caught Up In You"Bobby Caldwell's "What You Wont' (Do You Do for Love)Parliment's "Testify" (in large part for the awesome groove)"Nobody Does It Better" perfromed by David Sanborn and Oleta AdamsFun question- enjoyed reading the other posts. Thanks and Happy New Year. LMBTW- I dig your "Some Are Condmended by the Gods to Write" quote...

Re: Favorite love songs
Ted, another good one is "Love is a Battlefield." I still get a kick out of Pat Benatar's ' wiggling shoulder action in that one'......how she makes that guy get the hell out of the way in that video. Wow, Squiddy and LHMias just made me think of two songs I dearly love as well....."Natural Woman" and "At Last." Aretha and Etta were two of the best!Squiddy, yeah, I love Seal's "Prayer for the Dying"....that song was on the list of 'songs I never get tired of hearing.' Happy New Year to you too, LHMias.

Re: Favorite love songs
Just thought of another one...Although it's a heart-wrenching tear-jerker...Hogie Carmichael's "Mean to Me"... DEVASTATINGLY beautiful. And whether any of us want to admit it or not, Shania Twain's "Still the One" AND "From This Moment" are stunning tunes that will live longer than we will.
