Favorite love songs

Post by jchitty » Tue Jan 01, 2008 9:41 am

Okay, this might be a little sentimental and cheesy, hehe, but what are your favorite love songs (or just one if you prefer)....those songs which hold great memories for you or just take you to a higher place when you hear them?Mine is "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls.Anything by ZZ Top are my husband's favorite love songs.

Hey, Bob, Telaak, Kelysian, Chris and Ted.....some good stuff y'all listed....keep 'em comin'. BTW, there is nothing better than Mel Torme's version of "Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire'' (yeah, no love song, hehe)....I like it even better than Nat King Cole's version which is saying something.....both of them had velvet voices. And I just saw Pat Benatar's "We Belong" video not too long ago on VH1....ah, it brings back some memories.

And the pub where I'm sitting to glom off their wireless service has satellite radio, and "We Belong" JUST got finished playing. What a song! It'll get me every time.Ted
