Feedback on AC Pop Song

Hi.
Really like the track. Agree that it sounds a bit lackluster. I'd use smaller room reverb and make it fizz a bit, with some high end. I'd actually drop the drumming, altogether (possibly keep the chorus drums; though needs tightening time-wise). Sorry, drummer.
Perhaps roomy-reverbed percussion. Just to give it a bit more pep to contrast the general feel; without going over the top.
Either way; great track; just need a wee bit of contemp production. Best of luck.
