hi jonathan--i'll just say that this swings and the music is damned good--BUT listen to Claire--she is damned good, and IMHO right on with her lyric comments--they have to be friggin' PERFECT for c/w...and that is NOT easy....but you've got the music down and DAMN well done IMHO..all the best,warren

Thanks for the music kudos, Warren.Claire's comments figured pretty heavily into the re-write, and I'm hoping the lyrics stand up better now. She knows her stuff, for sure, and it's just nice to have her and the rest of the crew to take a look at stuff like this. Are you concerned that the lyrics still are a bit unclear?Thanks again, man.

Jonathan,Country is not something I listen to a lot - but I can hear a great song here. I really like the vocalist too! I see there's a debate about some of the lyrics, but for me the 'forced' lines like "genuine" are absolutely superb. I think you've done really well to include that kind of line. It helps elevate the song out of the run of the mill.Good luck with the song,Rob.

Thanks 3.Shoot, outchere 'n Podunk, Oklahoma, we say gen-u-ine all th' time. The vocalist is a friend of a friend. She's a high school senior, and her voice seems to get better and stronger every year. I'll pass along the kudos.
