Funniest moments... Probably one of them would be during the last night's dinner with the dots, when someone [we won't mention names here unless he decides to come forward!! Hahaha!] told Bill that he was going to lick his peephole.

Raags:Things taken out of context just don't always translate well! And besides in order to protect the innocent, the whole storycan never be told!I did laugh so hard that I cried when that comment was made......

At the panels in the ballroom, anytime that anyone said something funny over the P.A., it was common to laugh and then look at the person sitting next to you to acknowledge the humorous moment. This happened for me, but I also had a similar post-rally experience. I was sitting in the LAX airport terminal on Monday afternoon with my laptop in front of me, playing a DVD movie and listening with my headphones on. There was a funny scene in the movie which caused me to laugh out loud (VERY loud) and then.... silly me turns to look at the other people in the room to see if they are laughing too. Gawd, was I tired!!!!!!!!!

We had a nice moment and I thanked him and he turned around and walked away. Right away another guy came up to me and said "You must be somebody by the way that guy was kissing your a**, can I give you my CD?"I was there when that happened and it was AWESOME!

Tricia ("che") walks up to me and a few others, and said "Taj just KILLED them up at the open mic!"I looked at her, because she obviously knew me, but I had a "senior moment" and wasn't sure who she was. I asked her what her "online" name was.She said "ERN! I was just at your studio a few months ago with Taj!"I turned a bright crimson, and stammered that she must have changed her hairstyle --- Of COURSE I knew her and her son Taj, whom I mentored this past summer at my studio! Taj and I had a great conversation about recording engineering later, and all was forgiven! Another funny moment talking to Matto: I found out he was born in Switzerland, and I told him that I was 1/4 Swiss, 1/4 German, and 1/2 Finnish. He said "I've always pronounced your online name 'Ernst-i-nen'" which is correct. It's a family "inside joke" combining my German name "Ernst" with the common Finnish suffix "inen." But what cracked up Matto is that I often get PMs with people telling me that because my name is "Ernstein," or "Einstein," they were sorry to offend my Jewish heritage. One thing: I'm NOT Jewish! (Not that there's anything wrong with that: Jerry Seinfeld). Oh, sorry I didn't get to talk to you for a longer period of time, Mazz!Best Regards All,Ern I was there for that one too!

I can't post the funniest thing since this is a public forum. Uhhh, I can't post the second funniest thing for the same reason. Here's the third funniest Rally moment:Dave Walton's face when I told him about a long discussion I had with 2 seasoned musicians (you know who you are) who tried to convince me that the key of Db sounds different than C#. He asked if they had done a blind taste test...
