Quote:Well Chits,"Same ole same ole", is much better than, "OH NOOO!!! MY IN-LAWS ARE MEAN-SPIRITED ALIENS!!! Hehheh!Good to see you're still hangin' out on the boards!Yeah, I'll be watching "Gone Country" just for the laughs... If it has anything to do with country music, I watch it.LOL, you know me, Hooks, I'll always be around. "Gone Country" isn't the best series, but like you, I'll watch it if it's country. I'm torn about it. On one hand, I like old style traditional or neo-traditional country music, and Big & Rich isn't country what it is to be, but if there's enough cheese in the grits, I watch it anyway. PM me sometimes and let me know what you're up to.

Well Chits,I just caught a rerun of the "Charity/Vanderbilt" episode. Needless to say, I've reconsidered the potential of the show. My faith in "Gone Country" has been restored! Until next week...

I've caught part of the episodes while winding down at midnite. I find it pretty entertaining, and I could guess some of it is acting. But it really does point out a difference between being a rockstar and a country star. I find it 'educational'...ArkJack

Ted, almost everything from that show will show up on YouTube. Do some searches.

Boy, John Rich busted Diana in the chops tonight....not my preferred method for disciplining these aspiring folks......it made me wince. I know Nashville's a tough town, but I think he could have gone a bit easier on her. At least Marsha (Mo) came out on top!

I think he just wanted to see what she's made out of. He knows that she's got real potential -- the best singer in the house and she's young enough to shop for a deal, etc...I'm thinkin' ol' John was just testing her gumpshun... Hehheh...

Hehheh...Actually, even though it made me wince, I can see why JR did it. He was letting her know that she'd better take all this seriously....and really, I can't feel too sorry for her because we'd all probably kill (just kidding peeps) to be in her place! Maybe he feels she's too overconfident and she needs a shakedown! She's got the best chops of most of them as you say. John had to pull a 'Simon' on her tonight, I guess.I've become fond of Dee Snyder.....he's a real pussycat under that bad boy persona. I like Carnie too. Her sense of humor is great....she's crazy in a good way.

I noticed Dee Snyder kinda got a little mushy -- trying to raise her spirits afterwards. I think he's getting soft!!! Quieter Riot?
